Here are some other useful contacts for anyone who needs support;

If you are struggling to afford household goods and basic necessities you can self refer to the North Yorkshire Local Assistance Fund on 01904 550030 who may be able to issue supermarket e-vouchers and pre payment meter top up vouchers.

You can also contact Help through Hardship on 0808 208 2138. They can help address your crisis and provide support to maximise your income, help you navigate the benefits system, and identify any additional grants you could be entitled to. If needed, they’ll issue you with a voucher so you can get an emergency food parcel from your local food bank.

If you wish to speak to one of our energy advisors please call 01609 767 555 NB; this is not a freephone number.

If you still need to speak to an adviser please contact us on our freephone Adviceline 0808 278 7900 and an adviser will take full details from you. They will provide advice on the call and explore all your options as well as giving details of any further support we can provide.When you call, don’t select any of the options but wait to connect to an adviser and you will be put through to the North Yorkshire team. Please bear with us if you don’t get through on the first attempt as we are very busy, but keep trying and we will be able to help.
